Pingo Doce website
The new version of the Pingo Doce website, launched in December of 2015, was developed to provide an intuitive navigation experience, with easy access to the large number of products and online contents that Pingo Doce has to offer.
This project is highlighted by its size and for its implementation being based on the WordPress platform on a distributed system. Advanced caching and synchronization mechanisms allow the website to maintain excellent performance, even during periods of high accesses, such as when the weekly flyer is distributed.

Forming a multidisciplinary team, Dipcode was invited to take part in the specification and design of the website, having worked together with the customer’s team throughout the entire project.
Among other custom-made developments, the website adapts to several device formats. The back office has been optimized to provide Pingo Doce’s content management team with maximum autonomy, having created automations for importing contents. All plug-ins that were used were submitted to an extensive technical analysis prior to visualization. Likewise, load and security tests were also conducted.
The final product respects the best web development practices and was implemented with a permanent focus on access security and high system availability.
